Moldovan energy regulator adjusts temporary price for electric energy produced, tariff for thermal energy

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE), at a today’s public meeting, approved for the Termoelectrica stock company the temporary tariff for thermal energy delivered to consumers of 1,772 le/Gcal (without value added tax (VAT)) and the temporary price for electric energy produced at 2.37 lei/Kw/hour (without VAT), enforced starting from 1 November 2021.
These approvals took place in accordance with the Instruction No 5 from 19 November 2021 of Moldova’s Commission for Emergency Situations, sources from Termoelectrica have reported.
It is worth mentioning that the consumers of the Central Thermal Energy Supply System, at the delivery of thermal energy, will benefit from the compensation mechanism approved by the government, which provides for the compensation of the difference between the tariffs for thermal energy at a level of 67 per cent for the first Gcal.
