Moldovan president to pay official visit to Bucharest

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu will pay an official visit to Romania on 23 November, at an invitation by her Bucharest counterpart, the presidential press service has reported.
At the Cotroceni Palace, President Maia Sandu will be met by Romanian President Klaus Werner Iohannis. After the official ceremony of meeting and the discussions with the delegations’ participation, the two leaders will give a joint news conference. Also, President Maia Sandu will have meetings with acting Prime Minister Florin Citu, President of the Senate Anca Dana Dragu and acting President of the Chamber of Deputies Sorin Mihai Grindeanu.
In Bucharest, the head of state will be accompanied by Secretary General of the Presidency Cristina Gherasimov and adviser for public communication, Sorina Stefarta. The official delegation is also made up of Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu, Deputy PM, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu, Culture Minister Sergiu Prodan, Education and Research Minister Anatolie Topala and Moldova’s Ambassador to Romania Victor Chirila. At the visit, the sides are to sign the roadmap on the priority sectors of cooperation between Moldova and Romania and the agreement between the two countries on the mutual recognition of diplomas, certificates and scientific titles.
