As many as 620 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,463 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 620 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. One out of the new cases is import. Thus, 357,831 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 8 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (1 physician, 3 medical assistance and 4 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,476 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 165 are in extremely serious condition and 22 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 5,787 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,111 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,281people have been treated. As many as 339,526 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 43 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,799 people have died of coronavirus in all.
