As many as 371 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,452 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 371 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. One out of the new cases is import. Thus, 358,202 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), one out of all infection cases is among medical employees (1 physician).

As many as 1,458 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 167 are in extremely serious condition and 23 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 5,651 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,107 are under supervision at home.

Another 767 people have been treated. As many as 340,293 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 35 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,834 people have died of coronavirus in all.
