Two hospitals from Moldovan capital to be got out of COVID-19 circuit

Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall on 1 December will get two public health municipal institutions out of the sanitary circuit for treating COVID-19.
The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, today informed that, as of 1 December, the treatment of people infected with coronavirus would be ceased at the Municipal Hospital of Phthisiopneumology and the old block of the Gheorghe Paladi Municipal Clinical Hospital, where 110 beds for treatment were arranged, would be closed for the treatment of Covid-19.
The mayor noted that also those 30 beds set at the Valentin Ignatenco Municipal Hospital for Children from Chisinau would be reoriented.
The following municipal medical institutions will remain active for the hospitalization of coronavirus patients beginning with 1 December: Gheorghe Paladi Municipal Clinical Hospital with 200 beds; the St. Archangel Michael Municipal Clinical Hospital with 300 beds; Holy Trinity Municipal Clinical Hospital with 100 beds; Municipal Clinical Hospital of Infectious Diseases with 100 beds; the Maternity Hospital No 2 with 55 beds.
One year and eight months ago, in the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the municipal authorities mobilized 1,708 beds at profile sections and 79 beds at the Intensive Therapy for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
