As many as 655 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,515 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 655 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Seven out of the new cases are import. Thus, 358,857 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 17 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (5 physicians, 7 medical assistants, 5 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,822 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 213 are in extremely serious condition and 32 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 5,535 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,056 are under supervision at home.

Another 750 people have been treated. As many as 341,043 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 35 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,869 people have died of coronavirus in all.
