Modovan fine artist opened painting exhibition in Piatra-Neamț

Chisimau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/- A painting exhibition with the title Self-portrait of fine artist Arcadie Răileanu, born in Moldova, established for several years in Romania, was opened these days at the Art Gallery Lascăr Vorel in Piatra-Neamț, an organized event of the Center for Culture and Arts Carmen Saeculare.
Arcadie Răileanu said that in the exhibition he presents a series of works, 39 in number, various in content, theme, technique, size of works.
He recently released a painting album. It contains 140 pages and as many works, made from 1999 to the present.
He has had personal exhibitions in Belgium, Italy, the Republic of Moldova (Chisinau, Balti) and Romania (Bârlad, Bucharest, Craiova, Galați, Piatra-Neamț, Roman, Timișoara).
Arcadie Răileanu has participated, throughout his career, in numerous group exhibitions, held in the Republic of Moldova (Tighina, Chisinau), Romania (Călimănești, Râmnicu-Vâlcea, Timișoara, Piatra-Neamț), Russia (Moscow).
In 1999 he won the first prize, painting section, at the National Biennial Lascăr Vorel in Piatra-Neamț.
