Moldovan cabinet appoints new director of National Social Insurances Company, new state secretary at Labour Ministry

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The National Health Insurances Company (CNAM) will have a new head. The cabinet today approved the appointment of Ion Dodon as director general of the Company. Ion Dodon has degree is law and master in public administration, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.  

His professional activity comprises work in the central public administration authorities, especially at the Health Ministry, where he held various positions, including the one of the ministry’s state secretary.    

Also today, the government appointed Felicia Bechtoldt as state secretary of the Labour and Social Protection Ministry. Felicia Bechtoldt is economist with working experience at the department of employment of the Oregon state, USA. She is specialized in prospects as regards the labour market, demography, demand of labour force on behalf of industries and other sectors, prospects as to the salaries and tendencies on the labour market.      

„This is another return home of a high-value specialist. The policies in the labour sector need modernization, reform. We must revise the Labour Code and other acts dealing with the labour relations, both in the public sector and in the private one,’’ Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita said, in the context of appointing  Felicia Bechtoldt to the new office.
