Moldovan cabinet approves regulation on work of administrative board of National Social Insurances House

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Administrative Board of the National Social Insurances House (CNAS) will work based on a new regulation, in a new composition. The government today approved a string of amendments to the decision on the approval of the Board’s nominal composition, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Under the document, the Board’s work will be carried out based in a new regulation, which establishes the mission, way of activity, its rights, obligations and powers.
Thus, the CNAS Board will supervise the activity of the National House, will consider the present deficiencies in the working process and will propose, as case may be, the initiation of amendments to the normative framework related to the social insurances system. The Board will hold meetings if needed, but not more seldom than once in quarter, at an initiative by the Board’s head or of the director general of the National House.
The CNAS Administrative Board is made up of 12 people and includes representatives of the government, employers, trade unions and pensioners’ organizations. The Board’s head is appointed by the government.
