Concert dedicated to National Day of Romania to take place at Organ Hall

Chisinau, Nov. 25 / MOLDPRES /- A festive concert, dedicated to the National Day of Romania, will take place today, at 18.00, at the Organ Hall. The concert will be presented by the National Chamber Orchestra, conducted by maestro Cristian Florea, with well-known instrumentalists, brothers Ștefan and Ion Negură, as soloists.
According to the organizers, the concert program consists of Romanian music, creations signed by composers from both banks of the Prut: George Enescu, Petre Elinescu, Constantin Arvinte, Vladimir Rotaru and Gheorghe Mustea. The event will also include a premiere: Allegro vite e caracteristico (in honor of J.S. Bach ”) by Liana Alexandra (1947 - 2011), considered the most important Romanian composer of his generation.
Ștefan Negură is the winner of all national and international panpipe competitions, holding 17 prizes, of which 10 with first place. He is currently a teacher at the Belgian Panflute School.
Ion Negură, Ștefan's brother, is a winner of national and international competitions - holder of 18 awards and diplomas. He has performed in 37 countries around the world, including North Korea, Jordan, Macedonia and Turkey. In 2021 he was awarded the honorary title Artist Emeritus of the Republic of Moldova.
