Sheriff Tiraspol lost to Real Madrid

Chisinau, Nov. 25 / MOLDPRES /- The champion of the Republic of Moldova in football, Sheriff Tiraspol, lost last night, on the stadium in Tiraspol, in front of the Spanish team Real Madrid with 0-3.

The fifth phase of the preliminary groups of the Champions League is coming to an end, and in the ranking of group D leads Real Madrid, with 12 points. He is followed by Inter (10), Sheriff (6) and Shakhtar (1). For Tiraspol, the last match of the group follows, away with Shakhtar Donetsk, on December 7.

Thus, Real Madrid and Inter Milan qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League, and Sheriff Tiraspol will play in the eliminatory round of the Europa League.

On December 13, by drawing lots, the opposing teams from the eliminatory round of the Europa League will be established, and the matches will take place on February 17 and 24, 2022.
