Construction of bypass road of south Moldova village considered by State Administration of Roads

Chisinau, 25 November /MOLDPRES/ - The slow progress of the works of construction of the bypass road of the Slobozia Mare village, southern Cahul district, problems faced by the entrepreneur and the action plan with the indication, in concrete terms, of the entrepreneur’s capacity to finish the contract, were subjects tackled at a today’s meeting between the leadership of the State Administration of Roads (ASD) and the one of the entrepreneur from Turkey.
According to ASD, presently, the works of construction of the M3 road segment registers a 34.1-per cent progress of implementation, against the planned 50-per cent one; the term for the project’s completion is the 2022 year.
The entrepreneur informed that the project on construction of the road segment with a length of over 18 km is important for the company, as it is the first contract they carry out Moldova. The company’s leadership monitored the situation at the construction site during more days and made sure that it had started the process of rectification of the schedule of work and elaboration of the action plan, in order to finish the contractual works in the terms established.
The State Administration of Roads warned the entrepreneur that it would pay unexpected visits to the site, to make sure of the observance of the quality and term of the works’ carrying out, taking, if needed, the proper legal measures. At the meeting, the leadership of the Turkish company was asked to personally monitor the carrying out of the works of construction of the bypass road of the Slobozia Mare village and to keep in touch with the ASD representatives, in order to monitor the real situation on the site.
