Chisinau, Nov. 26 / MOLDPRES /- The Official Journal published today a cabinet decision on approving the decision on earmarking financial means and conclusion of a transaction, which provides for solving the problem of uninterrupted supply of gas to consumers and avoiding the cessation of their delivery.

According to the document, to avoid the gas crisis, it was decided to transfer to Energocom the arrears held by Moldovagaz towards Termoelectrica, created as a result of the previous delivery of gas, with a total nominal value of 1,330. 621,613.66.

The debts were formed in 2002-2008, on account of the gas delivery by Moldovagaz to Termoelectrica. Debts are confirmed by court decisions and are under execution. In the near future, Energocom together with Termoelectrica will sign an Agreement containing the schedule for the repayment of the arrears.
