Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/ - Ukraine has accepted a request by the Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry (MIDR) of Moldova to provide an additional quota of authorizations for goods transport.
„Thus, on the days to come, we will receive, for this year, 3,000 bilateral/transit-type authorizations and 2,000 port authorizations,’’ Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu said.
According to the official, this is an immediate result, following a visit he has recently paid to Kiev. ‘’We rely on the open and efficient cooperation with our Ukrainian counterparts in the long run,’’ Spinu said.
The deputy PM specified that, on 6-7 December 2021, a meeting of the Moldovan-Ukrainian joint commission in the international road transport was to take place. The participants in the event will discuss a string of topical subjects in the road transport sector, including the giving of final touches to all procedural aspects for ensuring the implementation of a liberalized regime of goods transport.
