Moldovagaz company transfers to Gazprom payment for gas consumed in October-November

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovagaz stock company today evening informed that it had transferred to the Gazprom giant the payment for the natural gas consumed in October and the first half of November.

For this, the Moldovan government today morning approved a decision on the allocation of financial means and concluding a transaction, which provides for the settlement of the problem of the uninterrupted supply of consumers with natural gas and avoid its ceasing.

To avoid crisis on the gas market, the cabinet ruled to transfer to the Energocom stock company the debts of the Moldova stock company to the Termoelectrica stock company, with the overall nominal value of 1,330,621,613.66 lei.

The decision entered in force today, with its publication in Moldova’s Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
