As many as 712 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,701 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 712 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Five out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 361,828 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 19 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (3 physician, 6 medical assistants, 10 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,582 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 181 are in extremely serious condition and 31 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 4,639 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 10,293 are under supervision at home.

Another 812 people have been treated. As many as 345,226 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 37 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,022 people have died of coronavirus in all. The Health Ministry specifies that some of these cases have been earlier registered, but are reported today.
