Customs Service collected over 627 million lei last week

Chisinau, Nov. 29 / MOLDPRES /-Last week, the Customs Service reported revenues of about 627 million lei, up by 14.7% than the established budget burden.

Since the beginning of this month, the Customs Service has collected 2.4 billion lei from the state budget, an increase of 27.3% compared to the revenues from the same period of 2020.

Last week, 12,458 customs declarations were made, and the flow of means of transport constituted 53,571 crossings. The busiest customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 13,072 and 10,160 crossings, respectively.

During the reported period, the customs officers found 199 violations of the customs legislation and applied fines worth over 285 thousand lei.
