Forty per cent of Moldovan capital's residents vaccinated against COVID-19

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - Forty per cent of the Chisinau city’s residents have been immunized against COVID-19.
At a today’s online meeting of the municipal services, the acting head of the Chisinau city hall’s social assistance and health department, Boris Gilca, said that 40 per cent of the Moldovan capital’s population had been vaccinated against Covid-19.
The official noted that the Chisinau sanitary authorities were ready to provide their experience to the national authorities. ‘’I suggested that the vaccination bus is put at the disposal of immunization actions nationally. On the other hand, it is quite easy for these mobile points to be placed based on buses. We will share the experience of arrangement, in order to strengthen the immunization nationally,’’ Gilca stressed.
At the same time, the official stressed that, because of the high incidence of coronavirus, 143 infection cases per 100,000 residents, the Chisinau municipality remained in orange of health alert and would continue more activities of promoting the anti-coronavirus immunization.
