As many as 107 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,039 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 677 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Four out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 363,110 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 13 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (4 physicians, 6 medical assistants, 3 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,491 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 181 are in extremely serious condition and 25 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 4,324 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 10,004 are under supervision at home.

Another 489 people have been treated. As many as 347,118 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 21 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,090 people have died of coronavirus in all. The virus killed also a family physician aged 61 years.
