Over 14,000 patients called for ambulance last week

Chisinau, Nov. 30 / MOLDPRES /- In the last week of November, emergency medical teams provided first aid to 14,544 people.

According to the data of the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance, the most often requested ambulance citizens with respiratory emergencies - 3,220 requests, followed by cardiovascular emergencies - 2,959 and neurological - 1,956 requests.

During the mentioned period, 1,117 citizens with various traumas received medical help at the pre-hospital stage.

83 people with infectious diseases, 39 with toxic emergencies and 18 with burns also called the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Service. At the same time, the AMU teams acted in the case of 17 drug intoxications; 8 - with alcohol and three with carbon monoxide.
