President discusses with business environment's representatives from north Moldova region

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu on 29 November visited the north Moldova Edinet Industrial Park, which hosts both success businesses and companies in the beginning of their work. During discussions with representatives of the business environment from the northern region, the head of state stressed that they must be backed through pro-business policies and correct attitude on behalf of all public institutions with which they interact, the presidential press service has reported.  

At the Edinet Industrial Park, the Moldovan president took knowledge of most local resident economic agents. One of them is Dumitru Bacalim, who after a career of ten years abroad, returned to Moldova and launched a branch of the Cornelius Electronics Company, specialized in the assembling of wiring and electronic articles. The enterprise has already 30 employees, several months after its launch.  

Another resident of the Industrial Park from Edinet, visited by President Maia Sandu, is the factory for producing juice concentrates, TB Fruit – an Ukrainian investment of more than 300 million lei. Sixty employees work at the factory and their number increases to 200 in the season of fruits’ harvesting.    

„I was happy to meet courageous and optimistic people, who make investments and contribute to the settlements’ economic development,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
