Moldovan central electoral authority establishes new local polls in two villages

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - New local elections will be organized in the villages Zastanca and Moara de Piatra from the Soroca and, respectively, Drochia districts.

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC), at a today’s meeting, established the holding of new local polls for the mayor office in the Zastanca village, Soroca district and Moara de Piatra, Drochia district.

In the Zastanca village, the ceasing of the mayor’s mandate before term took place given his death and in the Moara de Piatra village – because the mayor had resigned from office.

CEC has earlier established the carrying out, on the same day, of new local elections in the Ghetlova commune, Orhei district and Horodiste commune, Rezina district.
