Ukraine granted additional quota of authorizations for carriers from Moldova

Chisinau, 1 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- The Republic of Moldova has received from Ukraine an additional quota of transport authorizations, valid this year. This is a result of negotiations between Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development and his Ukrainian counterpart, Oleksandr Kubrakov, during the Moldovan official's visit to Kiev in November.
In this context, the National Transport Agency informs the road transport operators that an additional quota of authorizations for the current year has been received, consisting of three thousand authorizations for bilateral / transit transport and two thousand authorizations for transport of cereals to Reni port.
The authorizations granted by the Ukrainian side are valid until January 31, 2022.
The meeting of the Joint Moldovan-Ukrainian Commission on International Road Transport will take place on 6-7 December 2021, and a number of current issues in road transport will be discussed, including the finalization of all procedural aspects to ensure the implementation of a liberalized freight transport regime.
