Moldovan electoral body starts printing ballots for runoff elections

Chisinau, 1 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- The Central Electoral Commission started printing ballots for runoff local elections on 5 December. 115,931 ballot papers will be printed for six localities.
For the election of Balti mayor, 102,105 ballot papers will be printed, of which 51,988 in Romanian and 50,117 in Russian.
For the election of mayors in the other five localities, 13,826 ballots will be printed, of which 10,215 in Romanian and 3,611 in Russian.
The price of a ballot paper for the election of the mayor of Bălți municipality is 0.18 lei, and of a ballot paper for the election of mayors in the other localities is 0.39 lei. The total value of the ballot circulation is 23,771.04 lei.
On 5 December runoff local elections will be held in Bălți and five other rural localities.
