Moldovan PM has dialogue with European Parliament's delegation

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita today met the members of the EU delegation to the Moldova-European Union Parliamentary Association Committee, MEPs Siegfried Muresan, Ramona Strugariu, Gheorghe-Vlad Nistor and Maria Grapini, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The prime minister highlighted the constant support of the European Parliament in the carrying out of the country’s agenda of transformations and promotion of Moldova’s European integration. She stressed also the importance of the parliamentary component of the EU-Moldova relations. In particular, Natalia Gavrilita thanked for the assistance provided in the context of the energy crisis, noting that the EU’s support, including the financial assistance, remained essential for Moldova’s modernization. At the same time, the PM reiterated the government’s commitment as to the justice reform and combating corruption, as well as regarding the improvement of the investment climate, including through reducing bureaucracy and the administrative burden.
At the meeting, the head of the delegation, Siegfried Muresan, reconfirmed the European Parliament’s willingness to back Moldova in the process of implementation of the reforms and European integration.
