Priorities of Moldovan capital's budget discussed with civil society

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall today organized public discussions with the civil society on the municipal budget. The debates lasted about six hours.
More representatives of non-governmental representatives from the Chisinau municipality participated in the discussions on the draft law on the budget of the Chisinau city hall for 2022. The sides also discussed aspects of the social sector, such as: education, health, social protection. rights of the child, youth policies, people with special needs, sport, the segment of the housing and utility department and alternative transport.
According to the Moldovan capital’s general mayor, Ion Ceban, the proposals by the civil society’s representatives will be analyzed and taken into account when the Municipal Council is to approve the budget for the next year.
Ceban said that the discussions’ organization was needed, in order to learn the civil society’s opinions, as ‘’nobody knows the situation better than those who daily carry out their work directly in the concerned fields.’’
