Supreme Security Council examined actions of state authorities on concession of Chisinau International Airport

Chisinau, 4 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu convened the Supreme Security Council (CSS) on Friday to examine the actions of the state authorities in the concession of Chisinau International Airport, the presidential press service has reported.
During the meeting, the members of the CSS heard the representatives of the public institutions, in whose competence it is to verify the situation regarding the concession of the Chisinau International Airport. In particular, the level of fulfillment of the recommendations made at the last CSS meeting on this topic, in February 2021, was discussed.
Among the recommendations made by CSS is the completion of the process of assessing the damage caused by the concerted actions of state takeover of the Airport. It was also recommended that the security of this strategic objective, which is a gateway to the country, implicitly the security of the citizens who use the services of the Airport, be ensured by institutions that do not depend financially on concessionaires.
