As many as 449 new cases of COVID recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 3 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,258 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 449 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed.4 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 366,162 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 7 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 2 medical assistant, 3 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,030 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 134 are in extremely serious condition and 22 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 3,656 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 9,060 are under supervision at home.

Another 611 people have been treated. As many as 350,192 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 16 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,208 people have died of coronavirus in all.
