As many as 94 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 5 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,265 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 94 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 366,256 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 6 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (3 physicians, 3 medical assistants).

As many as 944 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 106 are in extremely serious condition and 20 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 3,676 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 9,041 are under supervision at home.

Another 305 people have been treated. As many as 350,497 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 9 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,217 people have died of coronavirus in all.
