Chisinau city hall called for right to increase salaries of auxiliary staff in educational institutions

Chisinau, 6 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau city hall has made an official note to involve local public authorities in raising the salaries of auxiliary staff working in municipal educational institutions.

Mayor Ion Ceban said at today's online meeting of the municipal services that he submitted an official note requesting the right of the local public authorities to increase the salaries of the auxiliary staff in the educational institutions.

The mayor referred to the example of chefs from municipal educational institutions who receive a low salary but have complicated working conditions. "In Chisinau there are 585 staff units in school kitchens, only about 500 are occupied. The reason for not filling these jobs is related to the unattractive salary - about 2300 lei, the salary of the auxiliary staff in these kitchens is about two thousand lei. We want to increase the salary of these people, we have made an official approach for this purpose ", he said.

On 29 November -1 December about 550 chefs and nurses from 129 municipal institutions of early education participated in training courses on the process of organizing and conducting nutrition for children in kindergartens.
