Chisinau MPs attend Parliamentary Assembly Session of Moldova, Poland

Chisinau, 6 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- A parliamentary delegation participates in the 7th Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and Poland. The event takes place on December 5-8 in Warsaw.
In Warsaw, the country is represented by deputy speaker, co-head of the Assembly Mihail Popșoi, Larisa Voloh, Radu Mudreac, Valentina Manic, Vitalie Jacot and Sergiu Lazarencu.
The event will begin with a speech by Deputy Marshal of the Seimo of the Republic of Poland, the co-chair of the Polish delegation Ryszard Terlecki. The participants will also be greeted by Bartłomiej Zdaniuk, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Chisinau, as well as by Igor Bodiu, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Poland.
Popșoi will give a presentation on the Transnistrian issue - possible scenarios, suggestions from the Moldovan side in the context of the Polish OSCE presidency in 2022.
The agenda also included the issues of the Moldovan energy system and the diversification of strategic raw material sources for the Republic of Moldova. Another important topic concerns the support provided by the Polish side for the Republic of Moldova, and other topical issues. The date and place of the next session will also be approved.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova - Republic of Poland meets in plenary sessions, which are convened once a year, alternately in Warsaw and Chisinau. It was set up in July 2011.
