Customs reported revenues of over 25.5 billion lei since beginning of 2021

Chisinau, 6 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Customs Service revenues to the state budget at the beginning of this year amounted to over 25.5 billion lei, increasing by about 27% compared to the revenues from that period last year and more by more than 11% compared to the load budget set for this interval.
In November, the Customs Service collected about 2.7 billion lei from the state budget, the amount being increased by over 24% compared to the same month of 2020 and by about 30% compared to November 2019, according to the institution. At the same time, between November 29 and December 5, 2021, the revenues collected by SV to the state budget amount to about 593 million lei, more by almost 39% compared to the budget burden set for this week.
During the last month, 57 365 customs declarations were made, and the flow of means of transport constituted 253 694 crossings. The busiest customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 59,421 and 49,200 crossings, respectively.
"In the fight against fraud, in November, 901 violations of customs legislation were found and fines of over 1.7 million lei were imposed. The most frequent violations refer to the exceeding of the term of being on the territory of the Republic of Moldova of the means of transport with foreign numbers, declared by action ”, according to the quoted source.
