Energy Community headquarters to be opened in Chisinau

Chisinau, Dec. 8 / MOLDPRES /- Secretariat of the Energy Community will open a headquarters in Chisinau. This was examined today by Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development and new director of the Energy Community.
"Good news for our country. The Secretariat of the Energy Community will soon open an office in Chisinau. I talked about this with the new director of the Energy Community, Artur Lorkowski ", wrote Andrei Spinu.
In this context, the official thanked for the support provided over time and for the future commitments in creating in the Republic of Moldova an energy market, transparent and fair.
The Energy Community is an association between the states of the European Union and those of South-Eastern Europe, which aims to create an electricity and gas market between the EU and other countries. It was established by signing the Treaty of Athens in 2005 and started in 2006. In 2009, it was approved to host Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova in the Energy Community.
