Stăuceni - locality with highest vaccination rate, example worth following -Moldovan PM says

Chisinau, Dec. 8 / MOLDPRES / -On a working visit to Stăuceni, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița went today to the Public Health Center, an institution that provides primary health care for more than 11.5 thousand citizens, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The administration of the center informed the prime minister that the locality registered a record vaccination rate of the population - of over 68%. At the same time, all 42 employees of the Center, of which 8 family doctors and 22 nurses, are immunized.

To ensure such a high vaccination rate, the center's administration organized an extensive communication and information campaign, with family doctors discussing with community members, explaining the benefits of immunization, and dismantling existing myths.

The center houses a physiotherapy room, reception and vaccination rooms, a day hospital, as well as a biochemical laboratory. As the population of the locality increases, the space of the institution becomes insufficient for the reception of patients. At the same time, the building that houses the Center is about 50 years old, in this sense being analyzed the option of identifying a new headquarters for the institution.

The medical staff reported that currently the information system implemented in primary medicine is doubling with the entries in the medical card. Complete digitization of patient records will save both financial resources and free up more space, which is currently needed to keep medical records.

"The digitization of public services is one of the priorities of the current Government. We will also continue to invest in medical infrastructure, so that all patients, adults and children, can benefit from the best conditions ", the prime minister said.
