Moldovan PM to pay official visit to Bucharest

Chisinau, 8 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita will pay an official visit to Bucharest on 9 December, at an invitation by her Romanian counterpart Nicolae Ciuca, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

At the meeting with the Romanian PM, the Moldovan prime minister will discuss opportunities of boosting the political dialogue in the context of implementation of the Roadmap on the priority cooperation fields between Moldova and Romania, as well as the organization of a joint cabinet meeting in early 2022. Starting from 11:35, the Moldovan and Romanian PMs will jointly make press statements.

The official visit by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita will continue at the Palace of the Parliament, where she will have meetings with President of Senate Florin-Vasile Citu and President of the Chamber of Deputies Marcel Ciolacu.

Subsequently, Moldova’s delegation will move to the Cotroceni Palace, where it will be received by President of Romania Klaus Werner Iohannis.
