Anniversary commemorative exhibition of Moldovan painter inaugurated

Chisinau, 9 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- The National Art Museum of Moldova inaugurated yesterday a commemorative exhibition -75 years since the birth of artist Inessa Țâpin, 1946 - 2013.
Institution's head Tudor Zbârnea said that the exhibition includes 30 works, of which 15 from the museum's collections and another 15 from private collections. "Inessa Țâpin was an artist who manifested a lot in the last years of activity. She operated on the color that underlies the painting. She had a safe and very well-established pictorial approach ", stated Tudor Zbârnea.
In 1987, the artist was awarded Medal of the International Association of Japanese Artists, and in 2006 -Mihai Eminescu Prize by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova.
Her works are kept in public and private collections in the country and abroad.
Inessa Țâpin passed away on February 4, 2013.
The exhibition will be open to the public until January 9, 2022.
