Chisinau, 9 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Moldova and Ukraine have established for 2022 the quota of 60 thousand authorizations for the road transport of goods, with the possibility of negotiating additional quotas during the year, based on the indices of trade between states. The agreement was reached within the Moldovan-Ukrainian Joint Commission on International Road Transport, recently held online.
Regarding the road transport of persons, the parties decided to organize a meeting at the level of experts in the first quarter of 2022, for the inventory of the regular route network between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. For the occasional passenger transport, the preliminary quota for 2022 will be 2200 authorizations.

"Regarding the problems faced by Moldovan transport operators in the control procedures on the territory of Ukraine, Chisinau requested the solution of the issue of the impossibility of drivers to get acquainted with the contravention reports at the time of their preparation, as well as refusal by the supervisory authorities to issue a copy of the report. The Ukrainian side informed that, by the end of January 2022, it is planned to introduce new forms of minutes, which provide for the presence of a second copy, to be handed to the driver at the time of preparation ", the National Agency for Road Transport ( ANTA) said.
The members of the commission mentioned the positive dynamics of the export and import flows of goods in 2021, compared to the same period of 2020. Ukraine is on the fourth place in the import indices and the fifth place - in the export of goods from the Republic of Moldova.
