Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/ - Director General of the Teleradio- Moldova Company Vlad Turcanu and the director general of the public broadcaster from Georgia, Tina Berdzenishvili, have discussed the conceptual, structural and editorial reform of Teleradio-Moldova in Tbilisi.
Vlad Turcanu noted on social networks that the Georgian broadcaster had been going through such a reorganization process for three years. Meanwhile, this broadcaster has managed to enforce a modern formula of editorial organization, which comprises, inter alia, an integrated system of TV, radio and multimedia news.
“To fulfill the public mission of broadcasting education, cultural and entertainment programmes, to be representative for the entire society, to develop as an entity in which all society groups find themselves, the Georgian public television encourages and finances productions of independent studios, with which it completes its broadcasting gird,’’ Turcanu noted.
The director general of the Teleradio-Moldova company stressed that there was a considerable similarity of problems and solutions applicable between the two public broadcasters from Georgia and Moldova.
The parliament on 3 December appointed Vlad Turcanu to the office of director general of the Teleradio-Moldova Company for a seven-year mandate. Vlad
