Customs reported revenues of over 628 million lei last week

Chisinau, Dec. 13 / MOLDPRES /- Customs Service revenues to the state budget amounted on December 6-12 to over 628 million lei / over 31 million euros /, more by 81% compared to the budgetary burden established for this interval. Also, since the beginning of December, the Customs Service has collected over one billion lei from the state budget, with an increase of 31.2% compared to the revenues from the corresponding period of 2020.
According to the institution, 12,821 customs declarations were made during the last week, and the flow of means of transport constituted 57,192 crossings. The busiest customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 13,604 and 10,186 crossings, respectively.
"In the fight against fraud, during the period in question, 153 violations of customs legislation were found and fines amounting to over 248 thousand lei were applied. The most frequent violations refer to the exceeding of the term of being on the territory of the Republic of Moldova of the means of transport with foreign numbers, declared by action ”, Customs Service said.
