Moldovan president to attend sixth Eastern Partnership Summit

Chisinau, Dec. 13 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu will be in Brussels on December 14-15 to attend the sixth Eastern Partnership (EaP) Summit. During the visit, several meetings are planned with Heads of State and Government of the EaP and EU countries, as well as with senior European Union officials, the presidential press service has reported.
On December 14, Maia Sandu will give a speech at the opening of the tenth meeting of CORLEAP - Conference of Regional and Local Authorities of the Eastern Partnership, which brings together mayors and local leaders from the region and European states. On December 15, the head of state will participate, along with counterparts from other countries in the Eastern Partnership Summit.
The Moldovan delegation also includes Cristina Gherasimov, Secretary General of the Office of the President, Nicu Popescu, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and Ambassador Daniela Morari, Head of the Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union.
