Meteorologists announce cold, snow this week

Chisinau, Dec. 13 / MOLDPRES /- Winter weather, with temperatures and rainfall characteristic of the period and territory, have been announced by meteorologists for this week, the State Hydrometeorological Service has reported.

According to meteorologists, in the next few days, the maximum temperatures will not exceed 5 degrees Celsius, during the day, and minus 7 degrees, at night. The coldest will be traditional in the northern region.

Also in the north, snow is expected this week. The precipitations are announced, starting with December 16, and which will continue until Sunday, in isolation being accompanied by sleet. Rain with sleet, only of lower intensity, is also expected in the central and southern areas.

According to popular meteorology, if the first weeks of December are frosty, the weather will remain the same for the next ten weeks.
