As many as 344 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,358 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 344 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. two out of the new cases are import. Thus, 370,003 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 10 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (one physician, 4 medical assistants).

As many as 1,136 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 166 are in extremely serious condition and 37 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 2,931 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 8,600 are under supervision at home.

Another 553 people have been treated. As many as 354,811 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 25 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,393 people have died of coronavirus in all.
