Education department in Chisinau tested teachers, auxiliary staff free of charge

Chisinau, Dec. 14 / MOLDPRES /- A number of 41 teachers and auxiliary staff from Chisinau's municipal educational institutions who have not been vaccinated have tested positive for COVID-19.

The education, youth and sports department of the Municipal Council announced that the testing process of teachers and auxiliary staff in municipal educational institutions, which for various reasons, were not immunized against COVID-19 continues free of charge with quick tests.

Following a public auction, Chisinau city hall purchased 31 thousand quick tests, at a price of 13 lei per unit.

So far 3,650 teachers and auxiliary staff from educational institutions in the capital have been tested. 41 tests were positive.

People tested positive for COVID-19 were placed in self-isolation.
