Moldovan companies to get assistance in developing organizational capacity

Chisinau, Dec. 14 / MOLDPRES /- Three companies in the Republic of Moldova operating in organic farming will benefit in December 2021 -June 2022 from assistance focused on organizational capacity development, offered within the program of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Farmer-to -Farmer implemented by CNFA (Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture) Moldova. The assistance will be provided by a local company hired under contract following a recent capacity assessment and based on its recommendations.
The three beneficiaries are the Employers' Association Alliance of the Value Chain in Organic Agriculture in Moldova (MOVCA), the Agribusiness Business Incubator Katalyst Kitchens and Agrobiznes company.
The assistance will consist in the elaboration for each beneficiary of a manual in the field of human resources, a policy of business trips, a model report for the contracted consultants, as well as a monitoring and evaluation system.
"Organizational development services will also include the creation of employment policy systems and procedures, including for volunteers, and the identification of best practices in the field of services provided by each beneficiary. At the same time, the three entities will be assisted in developing codes professional ethics, management of information flows and data exchanges, elaboration of model contracts used by the three organizations, as well as other documents ", CNFA Moldova said.
The Farmer-to-Farmer program is implemented in our country in 2018-2022, by CNFA Moldova, with the financial support of USAID. The program aims to increase the income of producers, processors, exporters and other actors in the value chain of organic farming and milk production and animal husbandry by improving the association, access to resources, training of farmers and university education.
