Moldovan citizens to be able to get extracts from state registers online

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - The government today gave positive notification to a draft law for the digitalization of public services. Thus, citizens will be able to get extracts from diverse state registers in online regime.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the draft’s goal is to facilitate the distance interaction between the government, business community and the Moldovan citizens, beneficiaries of public services. 

The document establishes the regulations necessary for the release of extracts from diverse state registers, in electronic format (e-Extracts), as well as the data’s online verification. The issuance and downloading of extracts from state registers will be able to be made through the governmental portal of the citizen and the governmental portal of the entrepreneur. The extracts will have the same legal value with the ones issued by the public institutions on paper.     

Also, the draft provides for the completing of the legal framework with regulations which would allow delegating a representative, based on the electronic signature, who is to get some public services, raise identity acts or the identical copies of the civil registry documents.
