Seven people to get one-off benefits for housing

Chisinau, 15 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Government approved yesterday allocation of 369 thousand lei for payment of one-off benefits for purchase of housing.

According to the government decision, the Ministry of Finance will earmark from the state budget to the local public authorities financial means for seven beneficiaries from six districts: Cahul, Causeni, Calarasi, Edinet, Nisporeni and Rezina. There are four participants in the fighting for the defense of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova, one participant in the fighting in Afghanistan and two participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.

One-off allowances will be available to citizens who have not received preferential loans from financial institutions and have not been provided with housing as of 22 October 2004.

In the state budget for 2021, for the nominated purpose is provided the amount of one million lei, of which, so far, 410.0 thousand lei have been executed.

This project was set up under the government decision on one-off allowances for the construction or purchase of housing, or the restoration of old houses to certain categories of citizens. One-off benefits for the construction, purchase of residential space or restoration of old houses are entitled to benefit participants in actions to defend the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova, participants in combat actions in Afghanistan, participants in liquidation of the consequences of Chernobyl damage.
