Moldova's State Administration of Roads warns that unauthorized access to public roads endangers traffic safety

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - The State Administration of Roads (ASD) today informed that it recorded frequent cases of non-observance by the economic agents, which work in the area adjacent to the national public roads, of the provisions of the Law of Roads, which regulates the placement of objects in the zone of the public road and/or in the latter’s protection areas.   

According to ASD, more recent cases of non-observance of the legislation in the road field were registered on the national roads M1, M2, M5, R1, R2, R3, R6, R14.

The State Administration of Roads, which is in charge of the maintenance, repair and administration of national roads, warns economic agents and private people not to carry out unauthorized works, not to carry out commercial activities in the safety area of the national public roads, without permissive acts, issued by the competent authorities. At the same time, roadmen ask law-enforcement bodies to take note in these cases.  

Presently, 421 accesses are built in an area of 20 km from the Chisinau city, of which only 49 are authorized, according to the quoted source.
