Moldovan PM introduces new Government's Secretary General to staff

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita today introduced to the staff the new secretary general of the government, appointed to office at the last cabinet meeting, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.  

The PM voiced confidence that the new secretary general of the State Chancellery, with his experience and knowledge, would fulfill his duties with all responsibility, would cope with all challenges and would generate efficiency.    

„The State Chancellery must be a true centre of the government, a respected institution, where the team work should bring value added to the country. While so far, the social projects have been priority, such as the increase in pensions and allowances, from now on, I want us to focus on the efficiency of the State Chancellery, to work close together to offer predictability and safety to the citizens. I am sure that Dumitru Udrea will bring a new vision in the work of the State Chancellery,’’ Natalia Gavrilita stressed.   

Dumitru Udrea appreciated the confidence offered and referred to the priorities set for the near future.

„I know that there are pretty big challenges ahead. We have to do a lot of things to strengthen and reset the State Chancellery, the foremost goal and final result of which should be the improvement of the people’s well-being,’’ the head of the State Chancellery said.   

Dumitru Udrea has a rich experience in the public authorities’ sector and also worked as consultant in more projects with foreign financing.
