New local elections to be held in central Moldova village on 15 May 2022

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today established the organization of new local elections for the mayor office in the Paulesti village, central Calarasi district, for 15 May 2022.
The ceasing of the mayor mandate before term came about, given the local authority’s impossibility to fulfill his duties for more than four months in a row, including for health reasons.
The central electoral authority has earlier established the holding of new local polls on the same day in another six settlements of Moldova: Ghetlova commune, central Orhei district; Horodiste commune, northern Rezina district; Zastanca village, northern Soroca district; Moara de Piatra village, northern Drochia district; Tataresti village, central Straseni district and Glinjeni village, western Falesti district.
