Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/ – The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has decreased the price for the thermal and electric energy produced and delivered to consumers by the Termoelectrica enterprise.
At a today’s meeting, the ANRE members changed the price for thermal energy and electric energy generated by the Termoelectrica stock company from Chisinau. Thus, the Agency established the tariff for the thermal energy supplied to consumers at 1,689 lei for one Gcal and the price for electric energy produced (without value added tax) is of 2.33 lei for one KWh.
ANRE’s decision was taken following a request to annually adjust the prices and tariffs submitted by Termoelectrica.
The enterprise highlighted that it provided a social service of major public interest and, in the current conditions of prices for energy resources it would do its utmost to further contribute to the decrease in tariffs, for the benefit of the consumers.
The National Energy Regulatory Agency noted that decreased tariff for thermal energy and electric energy would enter into force on 1 January 2022.
